My Family Kitchen Family

The Family Kitchen was started at St. James by the Catholic Workers  over thirty years ago.  Recently, St. James Cathedral has taken up the preparation of these daily meals.  The Kitchen serves a healthy meal to about 150 neighborhood needy every weekday, year round.   Just as important as a nutritious meal, the Cathedral Kitchen, as it is now called, provides a nutritious sense of welcome, community, and family.
